SCS Grief Group
Beginning Sept. 21st.
Have you experienced devastation, pain, emptiness, and wondered how to live life anymore after the loss of your loved one? Please join us in this healing journey from sorrow to joy, led by experienced licensed professional counselors. The group will last about an hour and a half and will be held every Monday at 6:00pm for 14 weeks, beginning Sept. 14th. The cost is $210 ($15/week). We look forward to creating a safe and welcoming space for you all to walk through this difficult time TOGETHER! God Bless.
Please note: this group requires 8 participants for the class to make. The first week may be postponed until we have enough participants. The group will max out at 12 people. If we have more than 12 we will do our best to hold two sessions.
Disinfecting protocols are in place at SCS and general safety precautions regarding COVID-19 will be taken. Social distancing will be promoted as much as possible.
This is not a “for profit” event. All proceeds will go to cover expenses of this event and if there are any excess funds, they will be kept for sponsorship of participants in future community events and workshops. We are looking for sponsors from community organizations, churches, and/or individuals/families to help those that cannot afford to attend at this time. If you’d like to sponsor full or partial attendance for an individual, please contact us at 361-350-8088 or email@example.com. If you are someone who needs sponsoring, please let us know that when you call to register.

Cool, Calm, & Kind Kids Camp
In this day and time, it is important we equip our children with the tools needed to respond to societal stressors in a healthy and productive manner. This is the “cool” and “calm” portion of our camp. At the same time, we are seeing now more than ever, just how important kindness is. In fact, a little more kindness in our daily interactions will go a long way! Please join us for a fun and interactive camp that will teach children all these tools and more!
